Preface - Project 365

So i've decided to challenge myself for 2011. I've seen several photographers attempts at the 365 project and I thought it was about time I grabbed a piece of this pie. If your unfamiliar with this project/challenge this is basically what it entails. Take one photo a day for an entire year. Thats right folks... 365 pictures for those of you who are unaware of how many days are in a year.

So, why now? why not? I wanted to challenge myself to a long term goal. A goal where I would force myself to be creative everyday. I sometimes don't pick up the camera for days at a time and figured this would also be a great way to keep my hands of the camera and my brain used to being creative. I also wanted to see what kind of following I could get by uploading content daily. I'm going to attempt to challenge myself by not only snapping a new shot daily but to make it interesting. Anyone can take a snapshot of there phone or a quick shot of there dog. But what about making the shot interesting and eye catching. I'm wondering if I can keep it up with my other goals for 2011, we will see.

At the end of the year I will produce a coffee table book of each image along with the blog post for that day.

I've set a few rules for myself.

1.) Each image must be taken and uploaded on the same day.
2.) Extreme situations may arise and in that case the image must be uploaded on the next available day.
3.) Outtakes from one day can not be used the next day or any other day during the project.
4.) Each image must have a story accompanying it.

I look forward to a fun filled, challenging and all together inspiring year - Michael Herb

Also, I totally want to use the multitasking photo. Where do I go to order a poster for my wall? By the way, I am writing this comment while using the bathroom and baking a cake. Boston DUI lawyers
