Day 49 - Project 365

In the aftermath of day 48 i'm left with a half dozen amazing pictures. All of which I will give a similar treatment to the final shot. Because of that I decided to tone it down for Day 49 and stick close to home. I asked my fathers friend Teddy to stand in and brave the man eating vines. He was more than willing to and jumped right in. At first he was a little apprehensive due to the large population of spiders and other bugs that wont hesitate to ruin your day. Although, he quickly got over that and was all up in the plants business! The shot only took a total of 20 min to capture. It took longer today to setup and break down.

Day 49/365 - Help me title this!

I don't mind because I needed the extra time to clear of some of my computer. I have nearly 30,000 raw files on my hard drive and this project is adding approx. 50 - 75 per day. I do get rid of bad shots. However, I will confess that I have a small problem with keeping images. Actually files to be more precise, I'm a digital pack rat! Well, I backed up 50 gigs to an external and was once again semi functional. I need to back up my HD and re-format my Hard drive but that will take a terabyte and thats something I just don't have right now. I'm heading out to Miami Beach tomorrow at 9:30am Ben Price from Ben Price Photography will be joining me on this excursion to meet Artist Jay Alders.

Lighting:

Today was a simple two light setup. An AB800 with Medium Soft box coming from the back left set at 1/2 power. The Beauty Dish was setup boomed overhead approx. 4 feet over teddy's head. Power level was 1/2 power.
