Day 359 - Project365

Christmas… You wake up early, wear yourself out by 10am, take a nap, get up and eat too much. You then take another nap to aid in digestion only to get up again for a midnight snack. It's the same thing every year.

Now that Rylan is old enough to understand the concept of commercial Christmas, the days of sleeping in a bit on christmas will be, once again, a think of the past. That is until I move out again and if I manage not to have any of my own kids.

Rylan went to his mothers at Noon and once again, she was a bitch about it. I swear that woman doesn't have a once of Joy in her life. Hell, she's only my X sister in law and I feel the pain that Shawn has to deal with. I feel bad for any poor unfortunate man who wonders into her web of misery!

So with Rylan gone for the day, we were left to "test" out the toys. We started with the RC car track. We time tested each car to see which was the fastest. My best time was 3.2 seconds. I think I could do better if we had a few tweaks to the track and cars. Next we moved onto the Motocross PS3 Game and finally this match box track you see in the picture. Toys can be fun and I think its good to get down on the floor and just play every once in a while.

Tonight was hectic as Shawn is packing for California. He leaves Ft. Lauderdale at 6am tomorrow which means we have to leave at 3am to get there by 5am. I'm not looking forward to the 2 hour drive there and 2 hours back. Only to do it all over again on Wednesday when I fly out to Nevada. However, I am thoroughly looking forward to leaving Florida.

Brittnee Landers stopped by to wish us a merry Christmas, pick up some toys from the angle tree we had waiting for her and give us a 30 minute run down of her life in just 10 short minutes. I swear, she didn't breath, break, pause or punctuate once during the 10 minutes. She did manage to make close to perfect sense. Which is amazing on both her and our part!

I didn't receive much this year… The only thing I got was a set of bright blue Cookie Monster Pajamas and shirt. Shawn got the same thing but with Elmo on them. These are the pajamas you see in the picture. They are soft, fuzzy and insanely warm. Good thing were both heading out west where its cold!

I'm not sure what is in store for tomorrows shot as I will be down and up the Florida coast. I know I'll be getting some background shots for the Patty Madden shoot while in Lauderdale. It seems like a great place to get some interesting backdrops.

Hopefully on my way back I'll be able to get some shots of the wall the graffiti artist Marcus aka Grab has painted. He wasn't finished the last time I was their but it seemed that there wasn't too much that needed to be done. We'll see tomorrow.

Now… to relax and try to sleep. Getting up at 2am is going to SUCK!
